What is the Hybrid Cold Plasma?
Plasma is making waves as an innovative anti-aging technology to repair, regenerate and tighten skin. While there are infinite aesthetic procedures for skin rejuvenation, plasma is revered for its unique anti-bacterial effects in addition to visibly improving skin conditions and signs of ageing.
Scientific research and clinical trials in the Journal of Applied Microbiology evidence that plasma is fatal to bacteria while providing beneficial regenerative effects to human cells. Essentially, plasma is an ionized gas with electrical energy that is used to stimulate the production of collagen and fibroblasts, which are responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of connective tissues within the body.
At the surface level, anti-microbial plasma is able to break bacterial molecular structures, killing germs responsible for acne, eczema, rosacea and other skin problems.

Pre- treatment Information
Please check that you are suitable. You must be over the age of 18.
You cannot have this treatment if you have the following:
*Pregnant or nursing
*Epilepsy
*Pacemaker and/or heart disease
*Any diagnosed illnesses such as cancer
*Keloids
*Nerve damage in the area being treated
*Sensitivities to electrical stimulation
*Metal allergies
Pre Treatment Advice
Please stop use of acids/retinols 3 days before your treatment.
You cannot wash your face for 24 hours nor wear make up on the treated area.
Up to 10-12 days of healing time.
Treatment Process
Numbing cream will be applied on the day which means you will need to be laying down for 30-40 mins waiting before treatment.
If you’d prefer applying your own numbing cream before you attend then you can do this and it will reduce treatment time. Please just inform me that you would prefer to do that.
Treatment time is on average 15 mins depending on the area.
The numbing cream will reduce discomfort.
Step 1- plasma arc will be applied to the area which will be warming but will not leave any immediate marking on the skin.
Step 2- cold plasma gas will cool and disinfect the skin
Step 3– ointment will be applied and home care will be provided for you to take away.
Aftercare
You will feel warm after treatment and like sunburn. Possible redness for up to 48 hours.
Small scabs will appear (as per the image)
These will fall off over 7-10 days. Skin is likely to be dry so ONLY the home care provided can be used.
