Achieve the Best Results:

3-5 treatments, every 7 days apart, to deliver optimal results, the best results are often seen between 21-45 days.  Costs vary based on treatment area and product amount.

Common Effects & Post-Treatment Care:

Expect temporary redness, swelling, and tenderness can be up to 7 days post treatment, light bruising, occasionally nodules may be felt under the skin for up to 5 days where the product was placed.

Post treatment care; avoid touching the area for up to 6 hours, wash with a mild soap don’t scrub the treated area, no spray tans or sunbeds for 7 days. Use arnica cream if you feel necessary for up to 7 days to help prevent and reduce bruising.

Avoid blood thinners, alcohol should be avoided for 7 days, caffeine intake should be at a minimal, avoid heavy make up for 24 hours, no swimming for 3 days post treatment, it is safe to use the sauna or steam rooms, after 24 hours as sweating is encouraged, clients should also follow a low fat and low carbohydrate diet and increase water intake to at least 2 litres a day to get the best results.

Please check that you are suitable. You must be over the age of 18.

You cannot have this treatment if you have the following:

*Pregnant or nursing

*Epilepsy

*Pacemaker and/or heart disease

*Any diagnosed illnesses such as cancer

*Keloids

*Nerve damage in the area being treated

*Sensitivities to electrical stimulation

*Metal allergies

Pre Treatment Advice

Please stop use of acids/retinols 3 days before your treatment.

You cannot wash your face for 24 hours nor wear make up on the treated area.

Up to 10-12 days of healing time.

Treatment Process

Numbing cream will be applied on the day which means you will need to be laying down for 30-40 mins waiting before treatment.

If you’d prefer applying your own numbing cream before you attend then you can do this and it will reduce treatment time. Please just inform me that you would prefer to do that.

Treatment time is on average 15 mins depending on the area.

The numbing cream will reduce discomfort.

Step 1- plasma arc will be applied to the area which will be warming but will not leave any immediate marking on the skin.

Step 2- cold plasma gas will cool and disinfect the skin

Step 3– ointment will be applied and home care will be provided for you to take away.

Aftercare

You will feel warm after treatment and like sunburn. Possible redness for up to 48 hours.

Small scabs will appear (as per the image)

These will fall off over 7-10 days. Skin is likely to be dry so ONLY the home care provided can be used.

• Exfoliating agents for 48hours prior

Aftercare

• Always wear SPF 50 even in winter
• As with all injectable treatments there is a risk of mild swelling and bruising at the site of injection. Please give 7 days for healing.

Chemical peels are specially formulated liquids that are brushed on to the face as a means of exfoliation, whereby dead skin cells are removed and the growth of new cells are stimulated to leave a more radiant and rejuvenated complexion.

• with stronger peels there may still be some mild skin irritation

Day 5+:

Prevent shaving right before or after a treatment as this can make your skin feel sensitive and could cause potential irritation, redness or breakout.

This depends on the types of treatment you select and the current condition of your skin. If you have never had facials before or any of the treatments listed then we recommend you book regular treatments until you feel your skin has significantly improved. Combine this with homecare as that is equally if not more important than treatments. Once you are happy with your skin then bi-monthly or quarterly treatments is advisable.

However, some clients have monthly facial treatments to keep their skin clean, clear from build-up or blackheads and hydrated for longer.
